To celebrate the festive season, the Fundación María Cristina Masaveu Peterson is offering a special Christmas programme featuring two creative workshops for families based on the exhibition FMCMP Collection: Art and Nature. Footprints Are the Road.

Natural ornaments with the family: Creating Christmas together

Aimed at families with children between ages 4 and 16, the activity consists of a tour of the exhibition and a creative activity on the theme of Christmas. 

By analysing selected works in the FMCMP Collection, the families will discover how some artists use natural materials for their artistic creations. 

After the tour, the activity will continue in the creative space where each family will make their own “natural Christmas ornaments” inspired by the use of natural elements to make works of art. Each family will be invited to place one of their creations in the FMCMP Morasverdes Centre to help decorate the space collectively with the Christmas spirit.

All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. 

Christmas through nature

Aimed at families with children between ages 4 and 12, the activity consists of a tour of the exhibition and a creative activity on the theme of Christmas. 

By analysing selected works in the FMCMP Collection, the families will discover how some artists use natural materials for their artistic creations. 

After the tour, the activity will continue in the creative space where each family will be able to make their own “winter tree” inspired by The Four Seasons by Agustín Ibarrola, or alternatively create their own “creative Christmas mobile” inspired by We Are What We Stop Being by Eugenio Ampudia.
