THE FOUNDATION

The María Cristina Masaveu Peterson Foundation is a Spanish public-benefit, non-profit, private, cultural foundation. Created in 2006 by María Cristina Masaveu Peterson, it was founded, within the Masaveu family tradition of patronage and sponsorship, with a vocation for driving culture, training and scientific research at the national and international levels, always focussing particularly on Asturias.

The Foundation undertakes intense cultural activity in different fields, as well as extensive patronage work, which is visible through its exhibitions and editorial and training initiatives, and through research for its proprietary art collection and management of the Masaveu Collection.
