This piece by Cristina Silván plays with geometry and colour in the quest for the third dimension. Thus, in a kind of personal exercise in origami, she situates a polychrome, parcelled, folded paper composition in the centre, which visually and chromatically stands out over a blue background delimited by the support itself. The apparent casualness with which the paper is folded, almost resembling a leaf that has fallen to the ground in the autumn, contrasts with the real rigour and rotundity of the work, with which she seeks to profoundly organise the space.
Belonging to the P.S.M. 20 collection made in 2020 and comprised of 13 works, this piece was acquired by the Fundación María Cristina Masaveu Peterson at the stand of the Galería Antonia Puyó during the JUST MAD 2020 fair.
