Fundación María Cristina Masaveu Peterson presents Masaveu Collections. Textile Art, an exhibition bringing together a carefully selected group of more than eighty textile works dating from the fifteenth century to the present day. The selection reflects more than a century of collecting and two centuries of the Masaveu family’s involvement with textiles. 

The tour explores two main areas—historic and contemporary textile art—and features works by artists including Sonia Delaunay, Magdalena Abakanowicz, Sheila Hicks, Joan Miró, Josep Grau-Garriga and Aurèlia Muñoz.

This informative tour traces the evolution of textile art through a range of techniques and forms of expression.

PLEASE NOTE: External guides are not permitted. All tours organised by the Foundation are free of charge and led by our mediation team.

Pre-booked guided tours are not available on public holidays, except for those scheduled on Sundays.
