This photograph is from the series called Hotel Earle and was acquired by the FMCMP Art Collection at the stand of the A Coruña Moret Art gallery at the ArtMadrid fair 2015. Human presence throbs in the clouds that invade hotel rooms to suggest clues to the mysteries hidden in the compositions, based on the essay of the same name by Argullol to complete a peculiar journey through romantic painting. With reference to the painting of northern European and British artists, such as Friederich or Turner, and echoing certain impressionist experiences, the Galician creator combines his ability to read the space and play with the passing of time in a work that is torn between reality and fiction.
