This large-format painting was acquired by the FMCMP Art Collection at the stand of the Gijón gallery Aurora Vigil-Escalera at JustMad 2015 in Madrid. The piece is part of a recent series by the Madrid artist, characterised by the use of large backdrops and elements located close up that make up dreamlike universes full of expressions, organic forms and silhouetted characters, debtors of the psychic automatism that characterised Spanish pictorial trends of the fifties and sixties, between distorted drawings, fine lines, ‘pop’ resources and informalist compositions.
