Díaz-Maroto is defined as a photographer identified with the daily documentary and a creative tendency towards “set portraits”. His focus is on the landscape, relying on his technical quality and training, the result of numerous parallel activities as a founding member of Colectivo 28 and the Interfotos Festival, curator of the Alcobendas Collection and artistic director of the Escuela TAI. In 2008, he received the Photography Prize given by the University of Murcia and the CCM Photography Award.
