The actions of Eugenio Ampudia alternate methods, media and disciplines almost with revindications, using a certain linguistic complexity linked to the inability of art to be transformed into something more than itself. Issues such as identity, memory and its bonds, the awareness that there are no incontrovertible truths, that everything is a matter of perspective. The deconstruction of his own ideas, constant reflection, the idea that time passes and never remains are key to his installations and actions, often documented in videos and photographs. In 2008, he received the AECA Prize for best live artist of Arco.
