The Fundación María Cristina Masaveu Peterson has published the catalogue accompanying the exhibition «Collections Masaveu. Textile art», which brings together more than eighty textile works dating from the 15th century to the present day. The exhibition is co-curated by Antonio Sama García, lecturer in the Department of Art History at the Complutense University of Madrid, and Patricia Molins de la Fuente, art historian and exhibition curator.

The exhibition is divided into two main sections, each corresponding to one of the volumes of this publication: Historical Carpets, Embroideries and Tapestries, devoted to historical textiles, and Fabrics, Front and Back, focusing on contemporary textile art. Colecciones Masaveu. Arte textil brings together works from the Masaveu Collection (owned by Corporación Masaveu), the Foundation’s art collection (FMCMP Collection) and the personal collection of its president, Fernando Masaveu.
