This young Granada-born artists studied Audiovisual Communication at the University of Malaga and received a Master’s of Photography from the EFTI School in Madrid, combining her artistic career with work as a filmmaker and director. She has stood out at several festivals for young artists and she bases her work on key references and films for her generation, such as Francesca Woodman, Erwin Olaf, Alex Prager and Gregory Crewdson. She has also declared her admiration for the films of David Lynch, Italian baroque and Pre-Raphaelite painting. Encounters between life and death are recurring themes in her thoughtful scenography, a result of her dreams and obsessions, generating series full of symbols in which her interest in the film industry and her experimental capability provide visual resources to create drama between real life and the imaginary.
