This Costa Rican artist combines paintings and sculptures with constant photographs, in projects based on specific themes, conceived as works in progress. She draws inspiration from her trips to different countries with a social and cultural perspective on everyday life and references to problems such as emigration and identity. Some of her work, such as that included in the book “88 días en Japón” (88 days in Japan), is highly acclaimed by critics. In recent years she has lived between Costa Rica, Great Britain and Japan in search of creative experiences, furthering her studies and holding exhibitions at galleries in San José, London and Tokyo. She has also participated at fairs such as JusMad, Scope Miami and New York Photo, among others.
