Victor Garcia’s career dissects the poetic aspects of sculpture, painting, video and photography to find his own poetry of forms. His pieces do not follow any specific technique, they are usually distinct compositions in his process of creation that treasure memories and metaphors on creation. From the city of Gijón, he has lived in New York since 2007 and has been a resident artist at the International Centre of Photography (ICP) of New York, the KHB Kunstschule of Berlin and the Gaetano Ballardini School (Italy). Fundación María Cristina Masaveu Peterson gave him a grant in 2007 to participate in the PhotoMiami fair.
