THE FMCMP HEADQUARTERS IN MADRID CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC UNTIL
SEPTEMBER

FMCMP Headquarters, Madrid
29 MAY–14 SEPTEMBER 2023

The Madrid headquarters of the Fundación María Cristina Masaveu Peterson is closed to the public from 29 May to 14 September, inclusive. It will reopen with a new programme of exhibitions and activities in the second half of September. To date, more than 160,000 people have visited the centre to see the temporary exhibitions and the Street Art Space and take part in the different activities organised.

During the coming months, the Foundation’s activity will be focused on the summer programme in Valencia, in particular the inauguration on 29 June of Masaveu Collection: Sorolla, a major exhibition organised jointly with the Museo de Bellas Artes de Valencia to mark the centenary of the painter’s death. The show features the entire set of paintings by Joaquín Sorolla in the Masaveu Collection, the largest private collection of works by the painter of light.
