The work of this restless Brazilian artist and resident in Madrid constantly surprises those familiar with his work and those who are not for its apparent simplicity and complex methodologies, creating territories, dimensions, positioning himself against the art trade system. He bases his work on ideas related to urban planning, architecture and geography and uses multiple resources (photography, video, sculpture, drawing…), using combined media and materials as a password of the almost cartographical maps that alternate aesthetic quality with a conceptual and militant backdrop. He has received many fellowships, such as those of Fundación Arte y Derecho (2009), the Autonomous Community of Madrid (2008) and Injuve (2007).
