The dialogue of painting and photography serves this interesting Asturian artist for a rapprochement between the two disciplines. She often raises the same issue from seemingly opposite forms, maintaining ongoing dialogue. If the referent is diluted in the pictorial medium in pro of the painting itself, in the photographic medium it is more narrative, fleeing formalisms and talking with spaces, or perhaps with what they are not, in an attempt to inhabit the void. In 2008, she obtained the Cajastur fellowship, the Fellowship for Plastic Arts at the College of Spain in Paris and the Fellowship for creation at the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris. Fundación María Cristina Masaveu Peterson gave her a grant in 2007 to participate in the PhotoMiami fair.
